Day 1A of the Main Event Begins Today

The APT Poker Weekend Series Manila at Casino Filipino, Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel and Casino resumes today at 1pm for Day 1A of the PHP27,500 buy-in Main Event. This is an unlimited re-entry tournament with late registration open before the start of level 7. Day 1A will conclude at the end of level 11. There will be a one-hour dinner break starting at 6:45pm.

Alongside the Main Event, there will be a No Limit Hold ‘em (Event 3) starting at 3pm. Buy-in for this event is PHP16,500. For those who find themselves headed to the rail early, they may re-enter until the end of level 6.

The High Rollers Event will be resuming at 3:30pm with the remaining six contenders looking to bag the first place cash prize of PHP601,000. Unfortunately for one of them, there will be no payout as they are in the bubble stage with only five players seeing the money. John Tech currently leads with 161,500 chips.

There will also a Last Chance Main Event Mega Satellite at 6pm. With a buy-in of PHP2,750, players can battle their way cheaply into the Main Event.
