In the very first hand of yesterday’s opening round of the PHP 11,000 APT Asia Series Manila Heads Up event, Singaporean Daniel Chua knocked out his opponent with a full house, which proved to be a sign of great things to come after he claimed the title today – and PHP 341,400 in prize money – amongst the plush surroundings of Resorts World Manila’s tournament area. Head Hunter Champion: Brian Lovett

Brian Lovett was fortunate when it counted most to snatch a stunning win in the PHP 8,800 JBET Head Hunter side event at the APT Asian Series Manila. From a field of 91 players that included nine special PHP 4000 bounties up for collection, he took home 200,060 in prize winnings after defeating Kent Del Rosario in heads up play.
