HomeThe Asian Poker Tour is set to close out the year with an exciting nine-day APT Poker Finale starting December 9-17, 2015 at the APT Poker Room Manila, Manila Pavilion, Philippines. This marks APT’s 9th event for the calendar year, and as always, players can expect a wide variety of events including some new and returning games on the schedule.
On Wednesday, December 9, 2015, the APT Poker Finale will kick off with the PHP 1,000,000 Guaranteed Welcome Event. This is the first of 18 Side Events slated on the schedule. This event will hold both of its starting flights on the same day, one at 1pm and another at 5pm. On the following day, two events are on deck starting with the Battle of Nations Team Event at 1pm and the Ante Up for Charity for the Association De Damas De Filipinas Orphanage at 7pm.
On Friday, December 11, 2015, more poker action fills the day with several fun events to choose from such as the Head Hunter and the Ladies of Poker events. Up and running as well will be a new event on the APT felt, the High Roller Open Face Chinese Pineapple Shootout (12 max) with a buy in of PHP 55,000. Later in the week, APT has also added two NLH Freezeout events to the roster and the comeback appearance of Greed NLH – a possible winner-take-all pot.
The APT Poker Finale Main Event will then begin on Saturday with a buy-in of PHP 50,000. There are two day one flights scheduled for December 12th and the 13th at 1:00pm. The biggest and most exciting moment of the APT Poker Finale 2015 will undoubtedly be the crowning of the 2015 APT Player of the Year. Triple-crown champion Sam Razavi from England currently leads the race and is looking to bag his fourth in a row, however Japan’s Iori Yogo is gunning for the title and is currently behind Razavi in points by a small margin with 3rd place still up for grabs. This finale will certainly be filled with lots of fireworks as many will be holding up trophies to celebrate and end another poker action packed APT year.
