The Asian Poker Tour will finish 2015 with its 10th major and final event of the year 09-17 December at the Casino Filipino, Manila Pavilion hosted by the APT Poker Room Manila.
The event will consist of a Main Event with a buy-in of PHP 50,000 with 17 side events and 6 satellites. This 9-day poker finale will offer a total of 24 poker tournaments with buy-ins ranging between USD 60 – USD 2,200 – offering a poker challenge and a choice of event for everyone.
The APT Poker Finale will also see the crowning of the APT Player of the Year for 2015 at a special awards party.
Making the announcement, Jeff Mann, CEO of the Asian Poker Tour said that 2015 had already been one of the busiest for the tour.
“With 6 major week long events held so far we have offered players 76 individual poker tournaments at various affordable buy-in levels which have seen a total of 7,350 player entries and a total prize pool from all tournaments exceeding US$3 million. Obviously, with APT Asian Poker Series Manila; APT Asian Poker Series Cambodia; Asian Poker Tour Vietnam and now APT Poker Finale still to come this year, we are hoping to double these already impressive statistics,” added Mann.
The APT has also confirmed its first two events for 2016:
- APT Kickoff 2016, to be held at Casino Filipino Manila Pavilion, 13 – 21 January hosted by the APT Poker Room
- APT Asian Poker Series Cebu, 10-18 February at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino hosted by the All In Poker Club.
“2016 is shaping-up to be our busiest tour season to date. We are expecting to stage at least 12 major events which will include some first-time, new tour stops,” disclosed Mann.
