APT Philippines 2014 Main Event Day 1B Begins!

5 minutes ’til the cards fly here at the Resorts World Manila.  Yesterday, 50 of 90 players survived Day 1A and advanced to Day 2 of the APT Philippines 2014 Main Event.

It was Guam’s Jim Bonanno (79,375) and Annie Bordallo ( 75,175) who are the chip leaders so far. Who will join them at the top after eight levels of play today?

Meanwhile,  Tran Xuan Truc of Finland won the DafaPoker No Limit Hold’em event in the lone side event on Saturday. Play reached the wee hours of morning Sunday but it was all worth it for Truc who earned  $9,700  for his efforts.

Two side events are scheduled Sunday with the Pot Limit Omaha Hi set at 3:00 p.m. and the MegaSportsWorld Deep Stack Turbo at 7:00 p.m.
