Here we go for Day 3 of the APT Vietnam Main Event!

We are back at the Ho Tram Resort Casino with 18 players remaining for Day 3 at the APT Vietnam Main Event. With everyone assured a cash prize, they will now be battling it out for a coveted seat to the final table of nine. Leading the pack with 352,000 chips is Peter Nguyen of the United States.

Nguyen will be tabled with the other two big stacks, Bryan Huang Diwei from Singapore with 282,500 chips, and Sunny Zhang from China with 243,000 chips. On the other table, there are a couple of short stacks needing to quickly double up. Full details of the action can be found at the Live Reporting section.

At yesterday’s side events, the No Limit Holdem 1 (Event 6) saw Jun Funabashi  from Japan defeat fellow countryman Kenji Kurashina during the heads up match to claim the $6,360 first place prize plus the APT trophy for that event.
