The Asian Poker Tour is on its the third day of the APT Macau 2017 here at the Macau Billionaire Poker room in the Babylon Casino. Yesterday saw the awarding of the first two champions; India’s Zurvan Tumboli for taking down the Opening Event and later in the evening, Japan’s Tetsuya Tsuchikawa for topping the Ante Up for Charity. These players are now pacing the APT Player of the Series race.
Today, we will be seeing a third champion lift up one of those fine APT trophies as the Warm Up event resumes its final race for the title. There will be 17 players out of the 59 entries returning to the felt of which only 9 of them will be cashing in. Hong Kong’s Kwok Luen Hei enters the day as the front runner with the largest stack, a performance he has repeated having bagged the most chips at Flight B of the Opening Event. The prize pool for this event came to HKD 400,600 with the eventual winner clearing the HKD 111,000 first prize.
While the Warm Up event continues, we have a couple of side events also getting on the floor today, the High Rollers and the Head Hunter. Both events will begin shortly after the start of the Warm Up. Here’s a look at those events in detail:
