The Asian Poker Tour has announced the return of one of the biggest poker tournaments in Asia, the “Manila Millions’ super high rollers tournament to be held during APT Philippines at Resorts World Manila on Thursday April 18, 2013. Sponsored by Resorts World Manila and PokerAce, the Manila Millions will feature a HK$1 Million (USD $129,000) buy-in, which makes it the largest tournament ever witnessed in the Philippines.
The prestigious event is set to take place amidst the luxurious surroundings of Resorts World Manila’s Genting Club. Expectations are there will be around 25-30 players parting with the HKD $1 million buy-in. Players get a starting stack of 150,000 with each level lasting 60 minutes. In addition, eliminated players have the option to do multiple re-entries before the end of the dinner break which will surely increase the prize pool. A number of top professionals have already confirmed their attendance; these include Joe Hachem and Nam Le with other big names to be announced soon.
