A final table of 10 players is all that remains from the 48 players that started Day 2 of the APT Asian Series Goa Main Event at Casino Royale. Ending the hotly-contested poker session in front is Sweden’s Martin Nilsson on a 347,000 stack.
Just behind him on 325,000 is last year’s runner-up Sameer Rattonsey whose amazing effort of making back-to-back Main Event final tables should be congratulated no matter where he finishes tomorrow. Rattonsey surged into the chip lead briefly today when he knocked out the unfortunate bubble man of Astad Randeria.
Also in contention is Aditya “Intervention” Agarwal who currently sits third in chips on 284,000 and is well known in poker circles in India. Rahul Byraju will be keen to win as well, especially after coming back today from just a single 1000 chip in Level 17 when blinds were 2000/4000 with a 500 ante.
