Next up: High Rollers and Head Hunter; ME Warm-Up resumes; Minsik Oh wins the Charity event

Two days down and more events lined up at the Asian Poker Tour Finale Macau 2016! Today will see the High Rollers event and the Head Hunter take center stage at the Crystal Palace in Casino Lisboa. Also heating up the room is the final day of the Main Event Warm-Up.

High Rollers event

Starting at 130pm, the fourth event of the festival gets underway, the High Rollers event with a HKD33,000 entry fee. This is a favorite amongst the top pros, enjoying a tighter field with a large return. Players begin with a 40,000 stack (200x the big blind) with blinds increasing every 40 minutes. This event is scheduled to run for two days.

Head Hunter 1,000/Bounty

The Head Hunter event is one of the most action-packed tournaments in the roster. It is a big crowd favorite, turning up large fields. Players usually come out swinging, looking to earn that instant HKD1,000 bounty for every head delivered. Game time is 2pm. Buy-in is HKD4,400.

Main Event Warm-Up Final Day

Yesterday saw a good turnout of 60 players for the newest APT event, the HKD7,700 buy-in Main Event Warm-Up. The tournament had a similar format as the main but with much faster rounds, increasing every 30 minutes. By the end of regulation play, 15 players remained. They will return at 1pm today for the race to the trophy. The total prize pool amounted to HKD407,400. The money round begins at 9 players with the eventual winner receiving the largest payout of the festival so far, a sweet HKD112,800.

Main Event Mega Satellite

With the Main Event coming up tomorrow, another Main Event Mega Satellite will be running at 6pm this evening. Buy-in is HKD1,200. If you don’t have a Main Event seat yet and would like to attain one for cheap, this could be your lucky ride. Yesterday, there were three players who won seats to the Main Event via the satellite. Players who win seats to the main will have to use their ticket on Day 1A.
