Main Event Final Table set for APT Asian Series Mauritius

Two hours and twenty-eight minutes into Day 3, the final table of 10 players is all that remains from the 20 players that started Day 3 of the APT Asian Series Mauritius 2012 Main Event at the Ti Vegas Casino. Leading the pack is Bruno Tadebois from Mauritius with 369,000.

A total of 114 entries from 11 countries entered the APT’s first ever Main Event staged outside Asia. The action continues with the blinds rolled back to 2,500/5,000 with a 500 ante. This is part of the mechanics of the Main Event Final Table which guarantees that the average chip stack to be at thirty times the big blind.

Anderson now leads APT Player of the Year

Although not making to the Main Event Final Table, Liam Anderson had cause for celebration as he left in 13th Place gaining 40 Points to take top spot in the APT Player of the Year (POY) Standings.

“I’m here to take the lead in the APT Player of the Year (POY) table,” were Anderson’s words when he arrived at the start of the event and that he did. He even beat the close of registration for the Freezeout 4 event possibly looking to build on his lead.

The last day of the APT Asian Series Mauritius 2012 will feature the Main Event Final Table together with the €440 6 Handed and €3,300 Battle of the Nations events.
