Main Event Day 1B commences with Super Deep Stack Turbo, 2nd KRW3.2M High-Rollers

INCHEON CITY, Korea – After 33 advanced from Day 1A of the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Korea Incheon 2022 Main Event yesterday, a new set of aspirants takes to the felt for their chance to qualify for Day 2 and a shot at the KRW300M (US$208,635) guaranteed prize pool while two new Side Events take flight in the fourth day of competition at the Paradise City Hotel and Casino here.

Day 1B has cards in the air at 1:00PM (UCT+9).

Day 1A saw 58 entries and this being a weekend, an influx is expected as thus far a total 750 entries have already been tallied from the first six tiffs of this staging.

Mystery Bounty champion Kono Reiji led those who made it through from Day 1A as the strong Japanese contingent have so far turned this venue into their own personal playground with the Taiwanese force not that far behind. 

Four of the first five trophies awarded now belong to the Land of the Rising Sun.

Also launching today is popular (Event #6) the Super Deep Stack Turbo (S-DST) at 2:00PM, which was last included in the calendar of events here in 2019 where another Japanese player in Kaneko Yuya trumped a field of 120 entries en route to the title.

Also happening at 3:00PM is (Event #7) the second of the KRW3.2M (US$2,237) single-day High-Rollers as well as the “5-in-1” satellite for Day 1C of the Main Event.
