After the bubble burst, Nanthana doubled up again, this time through Nguyen Van Trung with pocket Kings over pocket Eights. Nanthana is still short with 135k.


Vaibhav Sharma’s aces cracked! Bubbles!

After getting chunked down to 10 BB against Pham Tien Dung, Vaibhav Sharma survived several hands then pushed it with A A. He faced Pham again who had A Q. When the flop ran a dramatic J 6 K, Sharma did not want to see a ten on the turn but that’s exactly what turned up 10 for a straight to Pham. The river 5 sealed the win and the bust. With no bubble protection, Sharma walked away with no pay. Pham goes over 600K.


Ngoc Anh Cao exploits the bubble round

Day’s entering chip leader Ngoc Anh Cao raised from cutoff and big blind Phan Trong Linh defended. At the flop 10 10 8, Phan checked, Cao c-bet 39k, Phan answered with a raise to 96k, Cao smooth-called. On the turn 7, check again by Phan, all in by Cao, quick fold by Phan who showed A 3 nut flush draw. Cao returned the gesture showing Q 5 flush draw as well. Cao beefed up to 1.16M and is the overwhelming chip leader. Phan dropped to 200k.
