Joining Cuong at the rail was Nguyen Huu Manh who had pocket Tens that was dominated throughout by Phachara Wongwichit’s pocket Kings. Next to go was short stacked Le Duc Anh with K♠ Q♥ that saw no help on the board to fall to Yin Mingbao’s A♠ 10♦.

Norbert Koh’s stack continues to swing. He paid a double up to Shardul Parthasarathi when his 3♣ 5♣ flush draw failed to materialize on the river 8♥ 3♦ J♣ Q♣ A♦ for Parthasarathi’s 10♦ 9♦ straight to hold. Parthasarathi chipped up to 393k, Koh dropped to 110k (11 BB).
Following that hand, Do Hoang Anh shoved with 5♥ 5♣ and was dominated throughout by Koh’s 6♦ 6♥. Koh back up to 246k. Do Hoang Anh earned VN₫ 56,090,000 (~US$ 2,419) for 34th place.
Yuthana Boonorm was short stacked all day and managed to hang in there with the big stacks. His run ended in 35th place on a flip against Terry Nguyen. Unfortunate result fot Takuya Sato who was all in with A♠ A♥ that was cracked by Tran Hai Ha’s A♣ 4♣. The board was J♣ 4♥ 2♣ 10♣ 8♣. Sato earned VND 46,740,000 for his 38th finish.
