After that shocking defeat with aces, Norbert Koh went all in with his remaining 115k stack and found two customers, small blind Terry Nguyen and big blind Ngoc Anh Cao. At the flop 9♠ J♥ 3♥, both checked. At the turn 2♥, Cao initiated a side pot with a 150k bet but Nguyen check-folded.

The river J♥ sealed the win for Cao and 9th place for Koh. Koh pocketed VN₫ 200,970,000 (~US$ 8,670) for his deep finish.
After suffering a huge hit to his stack that left him with 2.5 BB, Dang Dinh Tung aka Tung Red managed to double up a couple of times to bring it up to 500k. On his third shove, it was the end of the line with A♥ 4♦ dominated by Pham Tien Dung’s A♣ Q♦. Tung earned VN₫ 167,470,000 (~US$ 7,224) for his deep 10th place finish.
Shardul Parthasarathi went all in with A♣ J♣ and needed help on the board when Terry Nguyen called with J♦ J♠. The aid came on the flop A♦ Q♠ 3♣ and with the turn 9♦ and river 9♠, he survived and doubled up to 1.38M. Nguyen dropped down to 535k.
The sickest hand was just felted with Feng Yuvthree-betting all in with A♣ A♠ and initial raiser Norbert Koh calling with A♥ A♦. When the board ran K♣ 8♠ K♠ 6♠ 4♠, it was an stunning flush for Yu to ship a double up. In disbelief, Koh walked away from the table clearly shaken by the turnout. He dropped to 210k, Yu zoomed to over 1.4M.
Button Feng Yu raised to 60k and Ngoc Anh Cao defended from the big blind. Both checked the flop 8♥ J♥ 8♦. The turn 6♥, Cao bet 60k, Yu called. On the river 8♣ back to checking. Cao had A♦ 5♣, Yu won it with K♥ 7♥ flush. Yu up to 725k.
The biggest pot of the day yet with Nguyen Van Trung and Tung Red pumping it in. Action opened with cutoff Tung Red raising to 60k, button Nguyen Van Trung three-bet to 180k, back to Tung who called. At the flop Q♦ 4♠ 8♥, Tung checked to the aggressor Nguyen who c-bet 100k, Tung replied with a raise to 300k, Nguyen called. On the J♣ turn, same action with a check by Tung, bet of 500k by Nguyen, then a jam for another 500k to Nguyen. It didn’t take long for Nguyen to call and showed A♣ A♦, Tung had K♣ Q♥. The river 8♠ kept aces ahead for a huge double up to 2.76M. Nguyen has taken over the top spot. Tung plunged to 75k.
After paying a double up to Feng Yu, Nguyen Hai Phong moved all in with J♥ 9♥ and was denied the blinds and antes with Shardul Parthasarathi waking up with A♠ A♥. No bad beat at the runout to end Nguyen’s chase in 11th place. He earned VN₫ 139,560,000 (~US$ 6,020). Parthasarathi chipped up to 830k.
