Dinh Duc Linh risked it all with K♣ J♣ but failed to improve against Thai pro / High Rollers Single Day 1 champion Phachara Wongwichit’s Q♠ Q♣. Wongwichit shipped it to rise to 167K and Dinh shipped out.
No one comes close to Pham Tien Dung’s massive 444K stack. Next in line, though very far down in numbers, are Vaibhav Sharma with 285K. DG Dragon with 270K, Norbert Koh sitting on 265K, Pan Yue Feng at 213K, and Yuthana Boonorm with 210K.
Super High Roller champion Pham Tien Dung continues to command the field with an enormous stack that fattened up further after bullying Ashish Munot out of the pot. On a turn board 7♠ J♦ A♠ K♠ with 21K in the middle, big blind Munot checked, button Pham fired a pot bet of 21k, Munot tank-called. On the river J♣, Munot checked again, Pham put out a stack of yellows covering Munot’s 115K stack, Munot tank-folded. Pham excitedly showed his 10♦ 4♦ bluff while scooping up the pot. He now has around 444K.
Preflop raise war between cutoff Huynh Ngoc Cuong and small blind player led to Cuong tank-calling the shove. It was a flip with Cuong 3♣ 3♠ slightly ahead of the aggressor’s A♣ K♣. When the board ran 2♦ 6♣ 10♠ Q♦ 6♠, the small pair held its own to ship it and boot one out. Cuong increased to 164K.
The day’s entering chip leader Pan Yue Feng and Sam Nguyen stared down a turn board Q♠ 9♠ 5♣ 2♥ with 32K already in the pot. Acting first, Sam Nguyen bet 15k, Feng raised to 32K, Nguyen tanked for a few minutes then tossed in the chips when the clock was called. The river Q♦, Nguyen quickly jammed his 28.4K stack, this time sending Feng deep in the tank. Time was eventually called. Feng paid it and showed K♦ 10♦ failed hero call. Nguyen shipped a double up with Q♣ J♣ trips. Nguyen climbed to over 150K.
Action folded around to the small blind Minh Nguyen who then slid all his chips out front. Big blind Giao Linh gave him a sweat by calling the 14.8K with better cards.

Mid position player / big stacked Nguyen Quang Huy min-raised to 3600 and big blind Dennis Ng defended. At the flop and turn Q♥ 6♥ 9♠ 10♠, Ng check-called Nguyen’s 4k and 8k bets. On the river 2♠, both players checked. Ng had K♦ J♦ straight to win the pot. He climbed to 73K, Nguyen dipped to 140K.
Catching the action on a board 4♠ 9♠ 4♥ 2♠ and 90K weighing down the middle, Mr Tao shoved his 40.8K stack sending Nguyen Ngoc Dai tanking. With time banks not yet in play, and sitting with about the same stack as the shove, Nguyen took a couple of minutes to decide then reluctantly folded. Mr Tao claimed to pot while showing 10♣. He climbed to 130K.
