Chauve c-bet 4500, called by Seok. On the turn 5♦ and river 10♠, no bets fired. Chauve showed K♣ 9♣ but Seok had better A♦ Q♦ to win the pot. Chauve dipped to 150k, Seok at 175k.
Utg Hong Kong Nguyen raised to 2800, action folded around to bb Royly Oracion aka Chipblaze who had just doubled up with kings. He looked down at Q♥ Q♣ and three-bet to 8k. Nguyen answered with a four-bet to 20k, Chipblaze called. When the flop ran 3♣ 9♥ 9♣, Chipblaze checked, Nguyen c-bet 8k, Chipblaze jammed, and a quick call from Nguyen. At the reveal, Nguyen A♥ A♠ and with the turn 10♦ and river A♣, Nguyen dusted Chipblaze and climbed to 180k.
Utg Nguyen Quang Huy jammed with his remaining short stack, utg+1 Pankaj Kothari three-bet all in, no other takers and the cards were revealed. Nguyen 3♥ 3♠, Kothari 6♦ 6♥, the board ran clean. Nguyen busted, Kothari up to 35k.
Another big stack in the room is Dutch player Thomas Van Leeuwen. While we didn’t get the hand(s) that sent him there, we did stop by to catch a winning hand. With a board showing 4♠ 2♠ A♦ 9♦ and 6600 in the pot, bb Paul Wee checked, hijack Van Leeuwen bet 2600, Wee called. On the river 4♦ it was check check. Wee showed Q-5 offsuit, Van Leeuwen won it with K♣ 10♥ higher spread.
Last July, Hwang Seong Il finished 21st at the APT Vietnam Main Event. He is back with the KMGM force and looking to bring his game further. We saw Hwang win a decent pot against Vivek Rughani. Hwang raised to 2500, hijack Rughani three-bet to 7k, fast call by Hwang. On the flop 9♣ 9♠ 4♦, Hwang check-called a 5k c-bet. On the turn 4♥ and river 5♦, no bets by both, Hwang won with 7♣ 7♥.
WE got to table 14 and Anh Nguyen had called a player’s pot bet on the river and won it with the player immediately mucking. Following that hand, Anh raised to 2600 from the button, bb Peter Kiem called. No bets on the flop and turn, and the complete board was 8♥ 10♣ Q♠ 4♦ A♠. Kiem bet 5600, Anh called, Kiem showed A-5 and said he intended to bet 1600. Kiem lost the pot to Anh who had A♦ J♥ higher kicker. Anh at 120k.
Lo-jack Hamish Crawshaw kicked off the hand with a 2200 raise, beside him Jin Yong three-bet to 6k, cutoff Mahesh Ved Martik four-bet to 15.6k, Crawshaw bowed out, Yong called. At the flop 2♦ 3♦ 6♥, Yong check-called a 10.8k bet. On the turn K♦ no bet landed and the river came 10♠. Yong checked again, Mahesh jammed, Yong with the snap-call.

Catching the action on the river, the board J♥ 10♦ 2♣ A♣ J♦, around 51k in the pot, Benjamin Gonzva laid a big bet that well covered Joseph Cona’s remaining stack. Cona called for his tournament life. Gonzva had A♦ K♦, Cona won it with K♠ Q♦ straight. He rose to around 127k.
Yang Dong Myeong was all in with J♥ J♠ and had cause to worry with big stacked James Chavanarojrit looking to bust him out with A♠ K♠. The odds were roughly 50-50. The flop ran low but with two spades to bring further scare. The turn and river were blanks to award Yang the double up to around 40k. Chavanrojrit dipped to around 185k.
