Tien Quyet Pham doubles up

Level: 17 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 8000

Short stacked Tien Quyet Pham three-bet jammed his 43k short stack and initial raiser Nguyen Tan Phuoc called it. Nguyen J J, Pham A Q, the board dropped an ace on the flop and it held for a double up to Pham to 100k.


Hsing Hsiung Tai in action

Level: 17 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 8000

Hsing Hsiung Tai got involved in three pots. Duong Minh Hai raised to 19k, called by two players, then bb Tai shoved. No callers.

Next hand, co King Lun Lau raised to 16k, Tai three-bet to 65k, Lau called after using one time bank. No bets came until the river 7 9 Q K 10. Lau bet 35k, Tai called. Lau showed K Q, Tai mucked.

Two hands later, Tai shoved again. No callers. He is at 125k.


Vincent Huang makes up some chips

Level: 17 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 8000

After doubling up a players, Vincent Huang called Ta Duy Quoc Chinh’s 16k raise and the flop came 7[qs} 10. Huang check-raised to bring it up from 16k to 50k, Chinh folded. Huang up to 290k.


Double up for Nguyen Tan Phuoc

Level: 17 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 8000

The first double up has been paid. Vincent Huang called Nguyen Tan Phuoc’s three-bet shove with K 10. The board ran 6 5 2 3 2. Nguyen’s A 7 was good for a double up to 196k. Huang dropped to 258k.

Action folded to the blinds, Kensuke Koizumi raised to 18k and bb Vincent Chauve called. No bets on the 10 5 2 flop. The turn 9 Kensuke led for 20k and got called. No bets on the river 3. Kensuke showed K J, Chauve won the pot with A 6.
