Nguyen Phu Danh likes his value bet

Nguyen Phu Danh and Tran Thai Ha stared down a flop 8 10 8. Danh bet 160k and Tran called. At the J turn, he fired another 175k, and Thai called again. On the 3 river, Danh bumped up his bet further to 250k and got the call from Thai once more. Danh opened A[js} and took down the pot. Thai dropped to 1.65M. Danh up to 2.8M.


Teoh Ming Hong increases his lead to 3.55M, eliminates Simon Burns

All in preflop, Tran Thai Ha with A A, Tetsuya Tsuchikawa with J J. The board ran A 7 8 8 3 for a double up to 2.3M to Tran. Tsuchikawa dropped to 2.160M.

Mei San Ang triples up

Action has really picked up here. More players moving all in. Next one was Mei San Ang with 220k remaining. She was called by Song Wen Long and Son Putin. At the flop A 4, Long bet to generate a side pot but Son folded.

The turn 8 was no help to Mei but the river Q improved her hand to avoid the rail and triple up.


Minh Le rails Aysee Nguyen, zooms to 3M

Utg player Aysee Nguyen moved all in and down the orbit, Minh Le tossed in the chips indicating a call. Aysee did not like the call as he turned over Q 10 but surprisingly was still ahead of Minh’s J 10. When the board ran J 3 9 3 7, it was all over for Aysee with Minh spiking a pair to boot him out in 20th place.
