Day 3 ends with the Final 8 formed; En Ching Wu in the lead

It took just over five hours for the final 8 to be reached. En Ching Wu railed Chen An Lin to end the day as chip leader with 1,410,000 in chips.

Chen An Lin falls in 9th place – TWD 176,800 (~USD 5,800)

It only took two hands for the final 8 to be formed. En Ching Wu raised to 45k from the button, small blind Chen An Lin shoved around 480k, Wu called.

The board ran 8 K 3 10 7 to send all the chips to Wu and Lin a 9th place finish. Lin earned TWD 176,800.


Seung Yeol Kim eliminated in 10th place – TWD 147,300 (~USD 4,800)

Level: 20 Blinds: 8K-16K Ante: 16K

Seung Yeol Kim struggled with a short stack all day and with everyone around him involved in heavy action, he was all in numerous times with his short stack. He was finally called by Seongsu Kong. Kim had A K, Kong with J J, the board ran low. Kim out in 10th place for TWD 147,400.

Jinho Hong back in fighting form, doubled up by Peng

Level: 20 Blinds: 8K-16K Ante: 16K

Jinho Hong is making a bid to get back on top. He scored another double up to help him get there. He had 10 10 and faced Yi Wei Peng with K Q. The board ran 10 8 A A 4 for a commanding full house. Hong up to 874k, Peng slipped to 955k.


Hung Tu Wang falls in 11th place – TWD 122,800 (~USD 4,000)

After doubling up Jinho Hong, Hung Tu Wang went all in with Q 5 and En Ching Wu sent him packing with J J on a board J 3 7 10 8. Wang earned TWD 122,800.

Jinho Hong doubles up to 460k

Jinho Hong is slowly out of the danger zone after landing a double up through Hung Tu Wang. Hong all in with 10 7, bb Wang called with 8 8, the board ran A 5 9 10 K. With a higher pair spiked, Hong is up to 460k, Wang dropped to 145k.


Three-way sends David Tai to the rail in 12th place – TWD 122,800 (~USD 4,000)

David Tai Hsing Hsiung all in for 122k, Seongsu Kong all in for 137k, Chi Jen Chu called for a three-way to the board.

Lonris Yong packs up in 13th place – TWD 102,300 (~USD 3,300)

Hung Tu Wang raised, Lonris Yong jammed, down the round Yi Wei Peng called, Wang folded. Yong A Q, Peng A K, the board K 7 10 6 K. Yong packed up and out in 13th place for a TWD 102,300 payday.


Craig Edwards takes 14th place – TWD 102,300 (~USD 3,300)

JC Sayo pushed from the small blind and short stacked Craig Edwards on the big blind risked it all. Sayo with J 6, Edwards with 9 9. The board paired up both of Sayo’s cards to eliminate Edwards in 14th place. He earned TWD 102,300 for his deep run.
