Alex Lee can’t be bluffed

Chu Chi Jen tried to win the pot with a three-bet bluff but Alex Lee denied him the pot with a call holding the flush. Hand opened with Lee raising to 6k, bb Chu defended. On the flop 8 5 5 no bets. The turn 3 Chu led for 6k, Lee called. The 4 river saw heavier action with Chu sending out 8500, Lee raising to 18k, Chu three-betting to 50k, Lee snap-called. Chu showed [qh} 6 bluff, Lee claimed it with A 5 flush. Lee up to 194k, Chu down to 105k.


Tank for tank….

Two players went at it in two hands that resulted in each one tanking the other long enough to use up two time banks. The first one was Tsai Yu You Ci. Pot was 30.5k, board was 2 10 4 Q, bb Tsai check-tanked to db Chi’s 16k bet.

Several hands later, same position, button Chi raised to 7k, bb Tsai defended. When the flop came 9 A 5, Tsai checked, Chi bet 7k, Tsai replied with a jam of 28.5k, Chi tank-folded.


Alex Lee continues to rise

Alex Lee has nearly tripled up since the start of the round. His latest pot had three players still in on a turn board 3 10 A Q. Lee bet 8500, check-called by Chu Chi Jen while He Zong Chi check-folded. On the river 9, Chu fired 18k, Lee raised to 36k, Chu folded. Lee up to 112k.


Carlos Chang earns some pay for his quads

Action folded to the button Carlos Chang who min-raised to 6k, bb chip leader David Hsing Hsiung Tai defended. No bets on the flop 5 2 2. On the turn 2, Chang bet 5k, Tai check-called. On the river 9, Chang with an 8k bet, check-called agian by Tai. The players were shocked to see Chang show 4 2 quads. He is up to 345k, Tai dipped down to 576k.


Short stacked Alex Lee gets a boost

He Zong Chi raised to 6k, down the orbit, short stacked Alex Lee shoved his 30k stack, Chi called. Lee K 10, Chi Q J, the cards fell Q[qc} 7 K 10 for a double up to Lee.

David Hsing Hsiung Tai

David Hsing Hsiung Tai is now way out front after shipping a three-way pot that sent Iori Yogo packing. The hand opened with utg+1 Carlos Chang raising to 5500, three players called and the flop landed 9 6 5. Big blind Iori Yogo shoved his 31.5k stack, Chang and He Zong Chi called, then Tai jammed his enormous 260.5k stack. Action back to Chang who folded while Chi called.

The turn Q was no help to anyone but the river 6 improved Tai to a full house to ship it and eliminate Yogo. Tai up to 610k, Chi down to 90k.


David Hsing Hsiung Tai earns off Lee

Level: 12 Blinds: 1500-2500 Ante: 2500

Three-way raised pot pre saw the flop land 3 4 7, sb David Tai Hsing Hsiung checked, utg Alex Lee bet 8500, button He Zong Chi folded, back to Tai who raised to 24.5k, called by Lee. On turn 9, Tai led out 45k, Lee called. No bets on the J river. Tai showed 10 10, Lee mucked and was down to 94k.


Carlos Chang sniffs Lim’s bluff

Level: 12 Blinds: 1500-2500 Ante: 2500

Board completed 6 Q 7 10 10, Wilsom Lim bet 15k just under pot bet. Carlos Chang debated then called. It was a good call with Lim showing 5 2 bluff. Chang won it with A 3 ace high.
