The hand opened with utg Minh Nguyen raising to 25k, beside him Tumboli three-bet to 85k, button Wadhawan four-bet to 185k, Nguyen folded and Tumboli tanked. After one of his time banks was nearly up, Tumboli five bet to 350k, Wadhawn jammed for a total of 662k, Tumboli folded while raising his A♣ in the air. Tumboli drpped to 1M.
From the button, Mr Vuong raised to 25k, big blind Francs Garson three-bet to 112k. Back to Vuong who tanked then shoved with a stack slightly higher than Garson’s. This sent Garson tanking then called.

Tumboli was caught bluffing with 5♦ 3♦, Parthasarathi claimed it with J♠ 9♣. Parthasarathi goes over 1M, Tumboli dropped to 1.3M.
Double up for Day 1A chip leader Ham Heung Chul through Norbert Koh. It opened with Koh raising to 24k, called by button Chul and bb Huy Pham. At the flop 5♥ J♥ 8♠, Koh bet 30k, Chul called, Pham check-folded. On the turn 8c}, Koh slid out 100k which was more than enough to cover Chul’s 69k remaining stack. Chul risked it.

Back to back bouts between Deepak Bothra and Akshay Nasa here at the bubble stage. On the first hand, Nasa raised, called by Bothra to see the flop 6♠ 8♠ A♥. Action was checked to Nasa who c-bet 20k, called by Bothra On the turn 2♥, both checked it for a free river 5♠. Bothra bet 20k, Nasa called, Bothra won it with A♣ 3♦ top pair.
Next hand, the board showed 5♥ 2♦ 4♦ and the pot built up to 96k. Nasa bet 30k, Bothra raised to 100k, Nasa called. On the turn 9♦, no bets landed. The river 9♥ Bothra led for 150k, Nasa tank-folded using his last time bank. Bothra showed 3♦ 3♠ while scooping up the pot. He climbed to 950k. Nasa dropped to 715k.
