Tech continues to accumulate chips, back over 1M

Level: 29 Blinds: 25000-50000 Ante: 5000

John Tech is on the move with a quest to bring his ailing stack back in fighting form. He accomplished that in two separate hands, one against Huy Pham and another against Linh Tran.

Against Pham, Tech raised to 100K from the cutoff seat and Pham called from the big blind.

At the flop of J 4 10, turn of K, and river of A, both players checked all the way and Tech won with his A 8 top pair against Pham’s 7 4 small pair.

In the hand against Tran, Tech (from the small blind) called Tran’s button raise to 100K.

At the flop of 9 9 10, Tech checked to Tran who continued for a 90K bet, and Tech called.

At the turn of A, Tech checked again, and Tran bet 175K, and like previous, Tech called.

Then on the river of K, both players checked and Tech won with his K 10 as Tran mucked.

Tech now has slightly over 1.3M chips, Tran falls to around 900K chips.
