Chang earns a decent pot

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

Jae Chul Chang claiming some small wins at his table. In a recent hand, he raised to 450 and was called by Kwan Kit Kwok and Michael Falcon. At the flop of Q 6 K, they all checked to see a free turn land 6. Chang took the reins and bet 750 which got a caller in Kwok while Falcon folded. On the river of 9, action slowed to a check from both parties and Chang showed his K 7 top pair. Kwok mucked and Chang scooped the pot.


Happy straight at the flop for Chehadeh

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

In a hand between John Costiniano and George Chehadeh, the flop was J 9 Q with Costiniano acting first with a 700 bet. Chehadeh challenged the bet with a raise to 1,600. Costininiano called. At the turn of 2, Costiniano checked to Chehadeh who laid out 3,150 and Costininiano called. Then with the river of K, Costininiano checked once more to Chehadeh who bet 2,500. Costiniano check-called then mucked when Chehadeh revealed his K 10 straight at the flop.


Regidor with a few ladies

On a turn board of 8 4 Q Q. Giovani Regidor bet 1,200 and Hajime Mogi called for a look at the river which landed A. Regidor checked and Mogi won with Q 10 trips.


Lim vs Tuan

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

Catching the action at the final betting stage, the board showed Q J 7 8 3 and a pot of around 8,000 already in the middle. Benjie Lim bet a huge 7,500, almost the size of the pot and Nguyen Anh Tuan called. Lim had A Q for top pair which was good enough as Tuan mucked.


Falcon rails Tan

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

Johnson Tan fell at the hands of Michael Falcon when he pushed all in on a board showing Q 9 J while holding 10 Q for top pair against Falcon’s J 9 top two pair. With the turn of 5 and river of 4, Tan was unable to summon his outs and was railed by Falcon.


Lim with another winning set

With five players in on a limped pot, the board ran Q 7 5. Benjie Lim started the betting with a 500 toss in the middle, everyone folded except for the button player who called. At the turn of 4, they both checked. Then on the river of 8, Lim slid out 4,000 worth of chips and was flat-called. Lim won with 7 7 for a set.


Kwok wins a without a fight

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

Kwan Kit Kwok limped in a pot with one other limper and the big blind. They went to see a flop land 5 7 J. Acting first was Tony Chang from the bb seat who checked to Kwok. Kwok bet 350 and sent the action to the button player who made his own bet by raising it up to 1,200. Chang decided to fold and Kwok called. At the turn of 9, Kwok checked to the raiser who bet out 1,200 again. Kwok called. Then on the river of 3, Kwok took the lead and sent out 1,475 which was good enough to take the pot as the button player folded.


Razavi doubles up, Chehadeh out

Having just re-entered, Sam Razavi tangled in a pot against new player George Chehadeh. It began with Chehadeh raising to 375 and getting two callers, one of whom was Razavi. At the flop of 8 2 5, Razavi checked, Chehadeh bet 800, and found one caller in Razavi. At the turn of 4, Razavi checked again to Chehadeh who used his option to bet 1200. Razavi then changed it up and raised to 7,000. Chehadeh reluctantly called and both went to see a river land 6. Having the same amount of chips, Razavi shoved his 11,825 chips and after tanking for some time, Chehadeh made the hard call and quickly mucked when Razavi revealed his 7 6 straight. Chehadeh busted and Razavi doubled up.

Sam Razavi moved all in with his short stack on a board showing 9 3 10. He was called by Nguyen Anh Tuan.

Tuan: K Q

With the turn of 9, Tuan landed a flush while Razavi had trips. But with the river of 5, Razavi was eliminated.
