Lim vs Chehade

Level: 18 Blinds: 2500-5000 Ante: 500

Benjie Lim is initiating some action at his table. He three-bet Georges Chehade’s 11,500 bet to 28K sending Chehade to the tank. Seeing how much Lim had behind, Chehade called and they went to see a flop of 6 4 K. Lim bet 25K and Chehade gave up his hand. Lim showed his pocket kings for a set at the flop.


Cabaling rails Loon

Level: 18 Blinds: 2500-5000 Ante: 500

Lim Yah Loon fell at the hands of Ferlyn Cabaling when he shoved his remaining 48K chips holding K Q and getting called by Cabaling with Q Q. The board bricked and Loon was out.


Bringley collects some from Hasse

Level: 18 Blinds: 2500-5000 Ante: 500

Gerard Bringley collected more chips in a hand against Julian Hasse that began with Hasse raising to 10K from the button and getting a caller from the big stack on the big blind, Bringley. At the flop of 5 A 3, Bringley checked to Hasse who bet 12K which Bringley smooth-called. On the turn of 6, Bringley opted to bet first and laid out 17K. Hasse thought for a short bit then folded.


Intia doubled up by Chehade

Level: 18 Blinds: 2500-5000 Ante: 500

Jester Intia’s stack has been fluctuating quite a bit until it fell to 68K. He decided to get it all in on top of Chehade’s initial raise of 11,500, and in no time, Chehade called. Chehade had Q Q that was sorely behind Intia’s A A. With the board running blanks for Chehade, Intia doubled up to over 140K chips.


Arnold doubles up through Cabaling

Level: 18 Blinds: 2500-5000 Ante: 500

Ferlyn Cabaling doubled up short stacked Steve Arnold who was all in with Q 9 against Cabaling’s pocket fours when the board ran 9 2 7 5 Q.


Marzan avoids elimination

Level: 17 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Erick Marzan moved all in and Jester Intia called. Intia had A J and Marzan had Q 7. The board was kind to Marzan as it ran Q 8 8 4 10 giving Marzan the double up with a pair.


Bringley’s higher kicker plays and escalates to over 430K

Level: 17 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Action began with Gerard Bringley raising to 12K and getting himself two callers to join the party. At the flop of 8 K 3, Antonio Angeles kicked it off with a 10K bet, Bringley raised to 25K, one player folded, Angeles re-raised to 50K. Bringley called. When the dealer burned a 4 on the turn, Angeles continued to fire and bet 45K which Bringley simply smooth-called. Then on the river of K, Angeles continued and slid out 35K which Bringley immediately called. Angeles showed K Q for top pair but it was not good enough against Bringley’s A K top pair higher kicker. Bringley now at around 430K chips.


Hasse with a full house

Level: 17 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

With three limpers before him, Julian Hasse raised to 17,500 and found himself two callers to see the flop run 5 4 J. Everyone checked to see a free turn card of 4 grace the board. Acting first, Hasse checked, Gerard Bringley bet 20k, Trifie Montebon called, and so did Hasse. On the river of 4, Hasse continued to check as did the others and Hasse won the pot with his J J full house.


Chehade continues to chip up

Level: 17 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Chehade is on a roll. He won another pot that began with him raising to 9K preflop and getting a call from the blinds, Benjie Lim and Erick Marzan. At the flop of 3 2 10, action was checked to him which he used to send out 10,500 worth of chips. Lim and Marzan folded.
