Sia took more chips from Brion in a hand that we caught on a filled board of 4 9 2 7 3. Brion bet 3,000, Sia raised to 8,000, Brion called. Brion had K 3 which was no good against Sia’s A 5 straight.


Bringley big double up against Tan

Level: 9 Blinds: 300-600 Ante: 75

Gerard Bringley and Johnson Tan engaged in a hand that awarded Bringley with a big double up. During the hand, both players stared down a flop of 8 10 Q with Tan betting out 5,000. Bringley smooth-called. At the turn of Q, Tan continued and bet 10,000, but this time, Bringley was ready for more action and shoved with his remaining 28,650. Tan called.

Bringley: J 9 straight

With the river of 5, Tan failed to improve and Bringley was awarded a massive pot bringing his stack to around 77,000 while Tan was chunked down to around 28,000.


Falcon sends Kwok straight out

Kwan Kit Kwok saw his last hand at the Main Event when he Michael Falcon. During the hand, action folded all the way to Kwok who moved all in from the button, a total of 7,400. Next to him was Faclon who called and they both revealed their hole cards after bb player folded. Kwok had 10 7, Falcon hand 9 8, and with the board running 5 6 7 4 A, Falcon landed a beauty straight and Kwok was straight out.


Camponanes bets out Duong

Level: 8 Blinds: 250-500 Ante: 50

Flo Camponanes and Ha Duong faced a board showing 9 2 4 which Camponanes just checked but Duong had other thoughts and bet 3,600. Responding with his own bullets, Camponanes raised to 9,200 and eventually, Duong called. At the turn of 8, Camponanes changed his betting style and led out for 13,375. Duong gave up and Camponanes won the pot.


Falcon river bet wins the pot

Level: 8 Blinds: 250-500 Ante: 50

On a board showing 6 7 4, bb player bet 2,700 and Falcon called to see a 9 land on fourth street. Once again, bb bet, this time for 5,500, and Falcon once again smooth-called. Then on the river of J, bb checked to Falcon who banged out an 11,000 bet which was good enough to take it down as the bb folded.


Pham ousts Tuan

Level: 8 Blinds: 250-500 Ante: 50

All the action took place pre flop with short-stacked Nguyen Anh Tuan three-betting all-in with his remaining 6,000 chips. Tuan had 3 2 which was up against Pham’s K Q. The board ran 9 Q K 4 J and with that, Tuan bowed out of the Main Event.


Edoc doubles up with aces

Level: 8 Blinds: 250-500 Ante: 50

Catching the action on a turn board of K Q 3 2, Lester Edoc bet 2,000 which was answered with an all in shove by his opponent on the cutoff. Edoc followed suit and it was a showdown.

With the river of 8, Edoc doubled up.


Felix’s set ends Rivera’s day

Euryd Rivera slid out three yellow chips for a 3,000 raise. Angelo Felix called and it was off to the flop of 4 5 9. Rivera quickly shoved and Felix snap-called. Rivera showed A K but was almost drawing dead to Felix’s set. With the turn of Q, Rivera was drawing dead and Felix scooped a nice pile to add to his stack.


Lim wins another pot

Level: 8 Blinds: 250-500 Ante: 50

Benjie Lim is picking up the pace at level 8. He called a raise of 1,200 from Ha Duong and both went to see a flop land 10 2 3. Duong continued and bet 1,300, Lim called. At the turn of 10, Duong checked to Lim who charged at him with a 3,300 bet Duong folded. Lim wins another pot.
