Intia on the rise

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 400

Jester Intia and Geoffrey Mooney engaged in a pot that began with Mooney raising to 6K. When action reached Intia, he raised re-raised to 13,500 only to hear Tony Abesamis announce he was all in for 16,500. Mooney called and so did Intia.

At the flop of 7 10 5, Mooney checked to Intia who slid out 15,500 worth of chips for the side pot. Mooney called and they went to see a turn of K. Mooney checked again but Intia would not have it. He bet 25K. Mooney called. Then on the river of 10, they both opted to check and Mooney showed his A J that missed his nut flush and was a losing hand against Intia who had A K for a two pair. Abesamis held Q Q which was no good against Intia’s hand. He was railed. Intia now up to 190K chips while Mooney fell to around 70K.

Intia later railed Shaji Shimabukuro to bring his stack way over the 200K mark.


Hasse gets aggressive on Casey

Level: 14 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

On a board showing K J 8, Gerald Casey checked to Julian Hasse who bet 7K. Casey called and both saw a turn land 2. Instead of a passive check, Casey changed gears and bet 6K only to get answered with a raise to 19K. Casey called. Then on the river of 4, Casey went back to checking, Hasse shoved for around 40K, and Casey folded.


Mooney full house paid for by Abesamis

Level: 14 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

On a turn board of Q J 4 K, Tony Abesamis bet 7K and Geoffrey Mooney called. After the river felted a K, Abesamis slowed to a check but Mooney changed tempo and bet 15K. Abesamis called. Mooney showed his K Q full house. Abesamis mucked. Mooney climbs to 135K chips.


Montebon eliminates Marzan

Level: 14 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Trifie Montebon railed Edwin Marzan whose chips dropped to below starting stack after losing a hand against Geoffrey Mooney. He saw his final hand when he was all in and Montebon tancalled.

Marzan: A K

Montebon: 6 6

The board bricked and Marzan bowed out at the hands of Montebon.


Marzan muscles in for the pot

Level: 14 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Action began with Georges Chehade raising to 5K, three-bet to 15,700 by 888Poker Pro Akira Ohyama, then a four-bet all in by Erick Marzan for a total of 45,800. After tanking, Chehade opted to folded leaving the decision to Ohyama who also gave up the the fight. Marzan scooped the pot without any callers.


Lee vs Shimabukuro

Level: 14 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Alex Lee earned himself a nice pot in a hand that began with a raise to 4500 by Shaji Shimabukuro. Lee called and big blind player Angelo Felix called. At the flop of 7 2 3, Felix checked to the raiser who bet 6500. Lee called and Felix folded. At the turn of 5, Shimabukuro checked to Lee who laid out an 8500 bet. After tanking, Shimabukuro folded and Lee added more chips to his stack.


Razavi non stop betting wins the pot

Level: 14 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Sam Razavi kicked off the hand with a 5k raise and Antonio Angeles called for a look at the flop of 3 8 Q. Razavi continued, sending out 7k, which Angeles called, though it looks like he thought the bet was only 2500 (thought they were all pink chips worth 500 each). At the turn of 6, Razavi kept the heat on and bet 16,400. This time Angeles folded. 


Intia vs Sia

Level: 13 Blinds: 800-1600 Ante: 200

Jester Intia and Eric Sia faced a flop of 5 J 8. Intia bet 6K and Sia flat-called. At the turn of 7, Intia continued and bet 10k, Sia again called. Then on the river of J, Intia did the same and slid out 22K. This time Sia opted to fold. Intia showed his A J top pair then scooped the pot.


Lim at the 100K chip mark

Level: 13 Blinds: 800-1600 Ante: 200

Flavio Ulmann tangled in a preflop raise with Benjie Lim which ended up with an all in fest. Ulmann had K J, Lim had A Q. The board ran 10 6 9 A 7 and with that, Ulmann was eliminated. Benjie Lim now has 100k chips.
