Benjie Lim is initiating some action at his table. He three-bet Georges Chehade’s 11,500 bet to 28K sending Chehade to the tank. Seeing how much Lim had behind, Chehade called and they went to see a flop of 6♥ 4♠ K♥. Lim bet 25K and Chehade gave up his hand. Lim showed his pocket kings for a set at the flop.
Lim Yah Loon fell at the hands of Ferlyn Cabaling when he shoved his remaining 48K chips holding K♦ Q♣ and getting called by Cabaling with Q♥ Q♦. The board bricked and Loon was out.
Gerard Bringley collected more chips in a hand against Julian Hasse that began with Hasse raising to 10K from the button and getting a caller from the big stack on the big blind, Bringley. At the flop of 5♥ A♠ 3♥, Bringley checked to Hasse who bet 12K which Bringley smooth-called. On the turn of 6♦, Bringley opted to bet first and laid out 17K. Hasse thought for a short bit then folded.
Jester Intia’s stack has been fluctuating quite a bit until it fell to 68K. He decided to get it all in on top of Chehade’s initial raise of 11,500, and in no time, Chehade called. Chehade had Q♠ Q♥ that was sorely behind Intia’s A♦ A♠. With the board running blanks for Chehade, Intia doubled up to over 140K chips.
Ferlyn Cabaling doubled up short stacked Steve Arnold who was all in with Q♣ 9♠ against Cabaling’s pocket fours when the board ran 9♦ 2♣ 7♣ 5♦ Q♦.
Erick Marzan moved all in and Jester Intia called. Intia had A♦ J♦ and Marzan had Q♥ 7♥. The board was kind to Marzan as it ran Q♠ 8♣ 8♦ 4♣ 10♦ giving Marzan the double up with a pair.
Action began with Gerard Bringley raising to 12K and getting himself two callers to join the party. At the flop of 8♣ K♣ 3♦, Antonio Angeles kicked it off with a 10K bet, Bringley raised to 25K, one player folded, Angeles re-raised to 50K. Bringley called. When the dealer burned a 4♠ on the turn, Angeles continued to fire and bet 45K which Bringley simply smooth-called. Then on the river of K♦, Angeles continued and slid out 35K which Bringley immediately called. Angeles showed K♥ Q♥ for top pair but it was not good enough against Bringley’s A♥ K♠ top pair higher kicker. Bringley now at around 430K chips.
With three limpers before him, Julian Hasse raised to 17,500 and found himself two callers to see the flop run 5♦ 4♠ J♣. Everyone checked to see a free turn card of 4♣ grace the board. Acting first, Hasse checked, Gerard Bringley bet 20k, Trifie Montebon called, and so did Hasse. On the river of 4♥, Hasse continued to check as did the others and Hasse won the pot with his J♦ J♠ full house.
Chehade is on a roll. He won another pot that began with him raising to 9K preflop and getting a call from the blinds, Benjie Lim and Erick Marzan. At the flop of 3♣ 2♥ 10♠, action was checked to him which he used to send out 10,500 worth of chips. Lim and Marzan folded.
