Cheng doubles up with kings

Short stacked Chiu Tzu Cheng was all in with his 34K chips and John Beveridge made the call. Cheng had K K, Beveridge with Q 5. The board landed Beveridge a queen but it was not better than Cheng’s hand. Cheng doubled up.


Georges Chehade survives and doubles up

Level: 20 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 10000

Georges Chehade found himself all in with his ailing short stack and was called by Gerald Casey. At the showdown, Chehade had 7 7 and Casey had A K for a 50/50. The board ran 7 4 6 3 J, and with that, Chehade celebrated his double up.


Cabaling wins some from Razavi

Level: 20 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 1000

On a board showing 4 6 10, Ferlyn Cabaling led out for 20K and was matched up by Sam Razavi. They went to see a turn land 4 to which Cabaling checked. Razavi then bet 20K and Cabaling smooth-called. On the river of J, Cabaling switched back to charging and led out for 29K. Razavi called and Cabaling showed her J 10 top two pair. Razavi mucked.


Brian McAllister avoids elimination

Brian McAllister dumped in his remaining 35K chips and got one caller in Benjie Lim.

Lim: A 4

With the board running 6 2 10 8 K, McAllister doubled up.


Casey takes some from Lim

Benjie Lim and Gerald Casey engaged in a hand that we caught on the turn board of 5 K 9 10. Lim bet 25K from the small blind but Casey raised it to 90K. Lim folded and Casey showed his Q-J straight. 


A gorgeous nut flush for Marzan

Erick Marzan called a pre flop raise by Georges Chehade and they went to see a flop land 2 3 K. Marzan led out for 13K and Chehade called. At the turn of 9, Marzan continued and bet 14K, Chehade called. Then on the river of 5, Marzan tossed in his remaining 43K in the pot and Chehade called. Marzan doubled up with a gorgeous A 8 nut flush.

Montebon flushed out of the tournament

Trifie Montebon moved all in pre flop with 37K chips and was called by both Angelo Felix and John Beveridge. At the flop of 8 8 2, both players checked to the turn of 7. Felix checked again but Beveridge moved all in for a side pot. No go, Felix folded and it was a showdown between Montebon and Beveridge.

Tan lands a flush against Chehade

Catching the action at the flop of 7 2 Q, Tan checked to Chehade who bet 9K, Tan called. At the turn of 8, Tan checked again and Chehade bet 17K, Tan called. Then on the river of 5, both checked and Tan won with his 10 7 one-card flush.
