Georges Chehade’s day at the Main Event has ended at the hands of Benjie Lim. During the hand, Lim raised to 28K, John Beveridge called, then Chehade shoved. Action moved back to Lim who shoved as well and with 124k to call, Beveridge folded.

On a raised pot pre flop, Jung An Yoon faced Sam Razavi’s push on a board of 9♦ A? and without hesitation she called for her tournament life. Yoon had K♦ K♥ and Razavi had A♥ Q♣. The turn of 8♥ and river of 6♥ were good for Yoon and she doubled up.
Gerard Bringley began the hand with a raise to 22K then Steve Arnold who made his 5K chip grow th 63K, moved all in. Bringley called and it was a showdown. Bringley had Q♠ 10♥ and Arnold had 5♥ 5♦. The board ran J♥ 4♣ Q♥ 3♦ J♠ and with that Arnold was eliminated in 16th place. He collects PHP66,000 for his finish.

Gupta tripled up with a full house while eliminating Ohyama in the process. Ohyama bows out in 17th place and earns PHP 66,000 for his finish.
Brian McAllister was the first to fall in 18th place. He moved all in with pocket sixes and was called by Calvin Tan. The board ran two higher pairs than McAllister’s hand and was eliminated with Tan’s ace in play. Mcallister collects PHP66,000 for his finish.

Olivier Frederic Duran moved all in and was called by Sam Razavi. Razavi had 10♥ 10♦ and Duran had A♦ K♥. The board bricked and Duran was the bubble at 19th place.
Incidentally, Steve Arnold had only one 5K chip behind just before the bubble burst.
Sam Razavi moved all in on the button and Akira Ohyama followed suit with his remaining 34K chips. At the showdown, Razavi had 8♥ 9♦ against Ohyama’s A♠ Q♦. With the board running J♣ 5♦ K♠ 9♣ 10♠, Ohyama landed a straight and doubled up to over 90K chips.
Olivier Frederic Duran got his 15K chips in the middle and was immediately called by Sam Razavi. Duran had K♣ Q♣ against Razavi’s 7♥ 2♥. The board ran K♠ 5♦ 4♠ 10♥ 6♦ and Duran happily doubled up.
