On a board of 4 3 9, Ian Brion checked to Eric Sia who made a bet of 1,200. Brion called. At the turn of 2, Brion checked again and Sia checked right back. Then on the river of 5, Sia laid an even bigger bet of 4,500. Brion called. Sia took down the pot with his 6 7 straight.


Lim aggressive betting with aces

Big blind player Benjie Lim shaves shaves some chips off Sam Razavi in a recent hand. It started with Razavi raising to 1,000 from under the gun that generated only folds around the table until it landed on Lim who three-bet to 2,700. Razavi called and it was off to the flop with 9 9 J landing on the felt. Acting first, Lim bet 2,500 and Razavi called. At the turn of Q, Lim continued with his aggressive betting and led for 6,000. Razavi called. Then on the river of A, Lim pumped up his bet even more and slid out 10,000 worth of chips but this time, Razavi opted to fold. Lim kindly showed his A A full house


Enriquez takes down a decent pot

Protecting their blinds, Michael Falcon and Kim Enriquez called a raise to 3,500 by the cutoff player. At the flop of 3 J 6, Falcon checked Enriquez who net 3,575. The initial raiser folded but Falcon stayed put and called to see a turn land K. Falcon checked again and soon faced a 5,600 from Enriquez. Falcon eventually folded and Enriquez claimed a nice pot.


Cabaling burns Abrahams on the river

Action began with Ben Abrahams limping under the gun, Ferlyn Cabaling (right beside him) raised to 2,500, everyone else folded, and Abrahams called. At the flop of 9 7 8, Abrahams led out 2,500 and Cabaling called. At the turn of 3, Abrahams checked to Cabaling who bet 6,500, and Abrahams responded with a shove. Cabaling called and it was a showdown.

With the river burning a K on the river , Cabaling took the lead and railed Abrahams.


Hasse earning some chips off Falcon

Julian Hasse and Michael Falcon engaged in a hand that began with a raise by Hasse to 2,700 and big blind Falcon called. At the flop of A 8 7, Falcon checked to Hasse who continued with a 3,000 bet. Falcon called. At the turn of 6, things got even heavier with Falcon initiating the betting round with a bet of 4,100, but then had to faced an all in of 10,600. Falcon opted to fold and Hasse won the pot.

With a board of 3 10 J in the middle of the felt and a pot of over 5,000 brewing in the middle, George Chehadeh bet 2,050. His opponent, Jojo Allado, upped it to 6,750, and with that, Chehadeh folded. Allado showed his J.


Falcon earns some off Kwok

The hand began with Kwan Kit Kwok raising to 1,000 with Kim Enriquez and Michael Falcon calling. At the flop of 4 8 9, they all checked and the dealer felted a 7. Action checked to Falcon who bet 1,000 which got one caller in Kwok. On the river of J, Kwok checked, Falcon bet 3,000, and just like that, Falcon took it down with a fold from Kwok.


Richards ends Chang’s day at the Main Event

Tony Chang played his last hand at the Main Event felt when he tangled in a pot against Charles Alan Richards that we caught only at the flop of 5 J 4. Richards led the betting with 2,200, Chang answered with a 5,000 raise, Richards re-raised to 30,000, putting Chang in the hot seat. Chang called for his tournament life and it was a showdown.
