Good result for ClubbGG qualifier Karr Yutuc who turned her US$ 50 ticket to a sweet Php 116,400 (~US$ 2,220). On a flop A♦ Q♣ 10♥, Yutuc was all in with A♦ Q♠ top two pair but was behind Richard Marquez’s K♦ J♥ nuts straight. The turn 9♦ and river 8♦ completed the board for a 28th place finish to Yutuc.
Down to around 14 BB, Soong Wing Keong three-bet shoved with A♥ A♣ and was called by Aamir Choudhry 5♦ 5♥. When the board ran 8♥ 3♣ 6♠ 5♣ K♣, Choudhry spiked the two-outer to send Soong out of the running in 29th place. Soong earned Php 116,400 for his finish. Choudhry up to 420k.

After losing a pot to Haruka Yoshimura, Lester Edoc reclaimed some of the lost chips by cleaning out fellow pro Mike Takayama. It was all in preflop with Takayama behind 9♠ 9♥ to Edoc’s J♣ J♥. The board ran dry and Takayama packed up in 32nd place for Php 116,400.
