Richard Marquez was once the chip leader and has been fighting to get back in fighting form. He recently engaged in three hands that sent his stack plunging to around 20 BB.
The first hand Marquez raised from the button, sb Shunpoker three-bet to 100k, Marquez called. On the flop 5♦ 4♣ A♥, Shunpoker c-bet 85k, Marquez called it and the turn came 10♦. Shunpoker slowed to a check, Marquez fired 175k, Shunpoker shoved, Marquez folded, bringing his stack down to 505k. Shunpoker joined the seven digiters with 1.25M.
The next all in clash, Kai Tse had A♦ 10♦, Marquez with A♥ J♠, the board was a nutty 5♥ Q♦ J♣ A♣ K♥ for a straight to the short stacked Tse and a double up to around 530k. Marquez down to 211k.
Desperate for a double up, Marquez sent it all in with A♥ 10♦, Shunpoker called with 8♥ 8♣, the board granted Marquez the double up as it ran A♣ Q♦ 5♣ 2♣ 5♥. He now sits with around 460k.
Just after dragging in an enormous pot by railing Yoshimura, Nicolo Valenton went crashing down and out of the running in 11th place. It happened in two hands back to back. The first was a sick cooler. Ryan Jerico Platon raised to 40k, Valenton three-bet to 200k, Platon all in for 732k. Valenton called.

On the next hand, button Valenton moved all in with A♦ 5♥, small blind Quoc Vu Nguyen called with 7♦ 7♠. The cards spread 9♥ 3♣ 6♣ 4♠ 6♥ to end Valenton’s run in 11th place. He earned Php 289,600 for his deep run.
Short stacked Kai Tse got it all in with 10♠ 10♦, Richard Marquez attempted to bust him with A♦ 7♠. After the board landed 10♣ 2♦ K♦ 8♣ 9♦, Tse said pocket Tens never let him down as he scooped up the double up to 185k. He will need more though to get out of the danger zone.
One of the last two Japanese players in the field has just departed. Haruka Yoshimura tumbled to Nicolo Valenton in 12th place. The hand opened with a raise to 45k by utg player Quoc Vu Nguyen. Three players called and the flop ran 3♥ 4♦ 5♦. Small blind Valenton checked, Yoshimura shoved 241k, two folds followed, and Valenton called.

End of the line for Emmanuel Segismundo in 13th place. Utg Ryan Jerico Platon opened for 32k, next to him SEgismundo jammed for 221k, after action folded around, Platon called.

Quoc Vu Nguyen has built up to a very healthy 800k stack. Earlier, he lost a big chunk to Galvez. Among his recent grinds, Nguyen faced off against Ryan Jerico Platon. By the turn board 6♥ 7♣ A♣ 8♥, 90k was in the middle. Nguyen bet 40k Platon raised to 120k, Nguyen called. On the river A♦, both checked. Nguyen won it with 10♥ 6♦.
Another winning pot for Nguyen, he raised 37k from utg+1 and found two callers. At the flop Q♠ J♥ A♥, action was checked around. On the turn 8♣, button Emmanuel Segismundo test bet 65k and only Nguyen check-called. The river 3♣, it was back to checking. Nguyen claimed the pot with A♠ 9♣.
Jae Chang is surrounded by big stacks but wasn’t afraid to get it all in two pots. The first hand he raised 35k from utg+1, mp player Moses Saquing called, big blind Renniel Galvez three-bet to 120k Chang shoved, Saquing shoved, Galvez opted to get out of the way.

A few hands after, button player Lester Edoc raised, Chang shoved on the small blind, Edoc called. Chang A♣ 4♣, Edoc ahead with A♥ K♥, the board favored Chang running 2♣ 5♦ 3♣ 2♦ 9♣ for a flopped straight improving to the nut flush. Chang doubled up to 504k.
An open from Niroshan Loganathan from under the gun, Emmanuel Segismundo Q♠ Q♦ shoved his 400k stack. Big blind Ian Marcos 9♠ 9♦ followed with another jam, covering Segismundo’s stack barely. Loganathan folds and the board ran Q♣ 2♥ A♦ 6♦ 3♣ to leave Marcos with less than one big blind. Marcos exits the following hand in 14th place for Php 241,400.
On a roll, Niroshan Loganathan opened from under the gun and Ryan Jerico Platon called on the button. Dan Trett on the big blind, answered with a small three-bet of 95k as to which both players called to reveal a flop of Q♣ Q♥ 9♦. Platon checked, Trett c-bet 100k and Loganathan called. A 4♦ came on the turn and Trett shoved all-in to face a quick call from Loganathan.
