Czar Ian Marcos rises to over 500k

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 2400

Czar Ian Marcos has picked up another good pot to rise to around 510k. On a board showing A Q 10, sb Noel Araniel checked, bb Marcos checked, mp player Joh Matsuda fired 17.3k, called by both blinds. On the 9 turn, Araniel led for 45k, Marcos shoved his monster pile, Matsuda got out of the way, and Araniel tanked. After much table talk by Marcos, Araniel opted to fold leaving himself around 47k. Marcos showed J 8 straight with a possibility of a flush.


Chad Fullmer rivers it to stay alive

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 2400

Preflop raise war led to all in by two players Calvin Tan and Chad Fullmer. Tan had Q Q, the shorter stacked Fullmer at risk with 9 9, the board ran A 6 7 8 10 for a straight to Fullmer. He doubled up to around 210K.


Niroshan Loganathan gets paid for his flush

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 2400

Three way preflop action saw Takahiro Kidokoro raise to 5.1k, called by both blinds Brandon Mifsud and Niroshan Loganathan. On the flop Q J 7 and 9 turn, all checked. On the river Q, Mifsud checked, Loganathan bet 8k, Kidokoro raised to 20k, Loganathan three-bet to 51k, Kidokoro snap-called. Loganathan turned over K 8 flush and won the pot. Loganathan now has 265k.


Shunpoker claims a pot against Won Ho Jang

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 2400

Utg Shunpoker raised to 5k, cutoff Won Ho Jang three-bet to 13k, Shunpoker called. On the flop K 6 4, Shunpoker check-called 10k. Same action on the Q turn with a check-call of 24k. On the river 2, both players checked, Shunpoker showed K Q two pair to claim the pot and rise to 270k.


Aamir Choudhry doubles up through Nagato Umehara

Level: 14 Blinds: 1K-2K Ante: 2K

With a pot of 54k in the middle and a flop showing 8 10 4, Aamir Choudhry jammed, and Nagato Umehara called. Choudhry was ahead with Q 4 pair, Umehara with overcards A J, the turn K and river 3 were no help to Umehara for a double up to Choudhry to around 160k. Umehara dropped to 150k.


John Matsuda ships one

Level: 14 Blinds: 1K-2K Ante: 2K

All in preflop, John Matsuda A-K, player A-J, the board ran low, Matsuda shipped it to rise to 170k.


Karr Yutuc doubles up through Alecz Chan

Level: 14 Blinds: 1K-2K Ante: 2K

All in preflop with Karr Yutuc four-bet jamming A K, called by Alecz Chan with A Q. The board ran clean 7 5 2 J 9 for a double up to the CLubGG qualifier Yutuc. She now has around 68K while Chan dropped to 35k.


Czar Ian Marcos dusts two, skyrockets to 470k

Level: 14 Blinds: 1K-2K Ante: 2K

Czar Ian Marcos is the new chip leader after dusting two players within minutes. On both occasions, he was ahead throughout. The first one was pocket Queens dominating Shoichi Nakashima’s pocket Tens, the bigger takedown was against Kee Kia Sin whose pocket Kings ran into Marcos’s A A that turned into the nut flush 7 Q 7 4 9. Marcos now has around 470k.


William Kang eliminates Joseph Sia

Level: 14 Blinds: 1K-2K Ante: 2K

Plenty of action at table 7 with the chip leader now Richard Marquez with 225k. Although we missed some of his grinds, we did catch William Kang ship one by eliminating Joseph Sia. It was all in preflop with Sia 7 7, Kang 9 9, no luck on the board for Sia. Kang climbed to around 170k.
