Just before the break, Lam Cheuk picked up a pot. He raised from utg to 23k and found two callers to the flop of 3 10 5. He c-bet 28k, no callers and showed his 10 10 set. Ahmed Ibrahimi returned the gesture and showed 7 6.


Dan Trett outdrawn in 14th place – Php 186,800

Dan Trett opened for 20k, down the orbit Enrico De Rosa three bet to 60k, Trett shoved and was quickly called by De Rosa.

When the board ran J Q 3 10 5 both improved, but De Rosa’s straight won it over the set to end Trett’s run in 14th place. Trett earned Php 186,800 for his deep run.


Feng Zhao busts in 15th place – Php 186,800

Level: 18 Blinds: 5K-10K Ante: 10k

APT champion Feng Zhao was stopped in 15th place by Thijs Hilberts. Action folded to the blinds, Hilberts raised to 30k, and bb Zhao flat-called. On the flop 3 4 J, Hilberts c-bet 25k, Zhao called. On the turn 10, Hilberts checked, Zhao slid out 80k, Hilberts called. The river Q, Hilberts checked, Zhao shoved his 195k stack, Hilberts had just a bit more and made the call. Zhao turned up J 9 second pair, Hilberts shipped it with Q J two pair. Zhao earned Php 186,800 for 15th place, Hilberts zoomed to 710k.


Lee Chang Hwan railed in 16th place – Php 155,600

Lee Chang Hwan 9 9 shoved, down the orbit big blind David Erquiaga called with a dominating K K, the board ran 6 A A 2 7 to end Lee’s run in 16th place for Php 155,600

William Fasano out in 17th place – Php 155,600

The first player to the money was William Fasano who three-bet shoved his 156k stack. He was called by initial raiser Yuto Hishikawa.

Thomas Ward on the rise

During the bubble round New Zealand pro Thomas Ward picked up a good pot against Thijs Hilberts with his K 4 low pair good enough on a board 8 4 3 6 6. He added 99k to his stack. A few hands later, he claimed another decent pot, this time agianst Enrico De Rosa on a battle of the blinds. On a board 9 Q 2 2 Ward double barreled and won a 54k pot. He now sits with 666k.

Second hand of bubble time, Pak Seok Won eliminated

Level: 18 Blinds: 5K-10K Ante: 10k

Fast race to the money with the bubble round tabling just two hands. The unfortunate casualty was Pak Seok Won who three-bet to 80k, Ahmed Ibrahimi shoved, initial raiser David Erquiaga folded while giving up his 25k bet, and fast call by Pak for all his chips.
