After cracking Edgar Asehan Jr’s pocket Kings with pocket Jacks on a flopped boat, De Rosa picked up another 5-bet pot off of Aleksandr Merzmvinskii. An open from the hijack from Merzmvinskii, Richard Marquez three-bet to 8.5k from the small blind with De Rosa following a four-bet to 20k from the big blind. Merzmvinskii five-bet to 44k, leaving about 150k behind. De Rosa proceeded with a call and the flop revealed A♦ 8♥ 9♠. De Rosa check-called Merzmvinskii’s continuation bet of 25k and both players checked the turn J♥. Going to the river 5♦, De Rosa moved all-in with Merzmvinskii folding for the rest of his chips. De Rosa now at 275k.
Bell John Perez is the second big stack at table 6 and has just added more to his arsenal after bluffing out Manish Lakhotia. The two actually faced off on a previous hand with Perez defending his big blind with a three-bet. This time around, with the pot already at 35k, the flop came Q♥ 7♠ 6♠, big blind Perez bet 15k, button Lakhotia called. On the turn J♠, Perez checked, Lakhotia bet 20k, Perez raised to 80k, and after tanking, Lakhotia folded while showing A♣ Q♣. Perez returned the gesture and showed 10♠ 5♦ bluff – flush draw. Perez now up to 280k, Lakhotia dropped to around 75k.
Main Event final tablist Ryan Platon was sent to the rails after losing a 210k pot to Wen Peng Dai on a board of 5♣ K♣ J♣ 6♠ Q♠. Following a raise pre-flop, Platon check-raised Dai’s flop bet and continued to check call on both turn and river for the remainder of his chips. Upon showdown, Dai revealed a flopped Q-high flush Q♣ 10♣ to take down the pot and become Table 26’s new chip leader at 220k.

Cheung fired 10k and was met with a substantial raise to 38.5k from Matsuda on the turn. Cheung called and the river showed a 4♥.
