Thijs Hilberts gets paid with Aces

An open from Julius Lagman to 7k, Thijs Hilberts called behind to see a flop of Q K 4. Lagman fired a small bet of 6k and Hilberts called. The turn showed a J and Lagman check-called Hilberts’ 15k bet. A 9 completed the board and Lagman once again, check-called a 23k bet from Hilberts. Hilberts shows A A and Lagman mucks his hand, leaving him with 55k just right before the break.


David Erquiaga vs Ong Jingxiang

Big pot at table 5 between cutoff David Erquiaga and button Ong Jingxiang. The board was 3 6 4 7, 120k brewed, Erquiaga fired 45k. Ong tanked then folded. Ong is down to 90k, Erquiaga rises to 260k.


Tomohiro Ikeda triples up to 150k

With all the chips heading into the middle pre-flop, Tomohiro Ikeda was in a good spot running his small pocket pair against two Ace-Kings – Feng Zhao and Sasaki Seiji. The board ran Q 8 5 10 6 and missed to hit the four outs to send him to the rails.

Lam Cheuk rails Enriquez

On a flop 6 Q J, it was all in by Kim Enriquez with A J who was sorely behind Lam Cheuk’s K Q. The turn 6 and river 3 didn’t help for Lam to ship it and Enriquez to ship out. Lam up to 206k.


Lee Chang Hwan rails Lakhotia

Level: 13 Blinds: 1500-3000 Ante: 3000

On a flop 2 10 7, Manish Lakhotia sent it all in with A Q draw, Lee Chang Hwan had K 8 flush, the turn 7 and river 4 didn’t improve the decorated champion Lakhotia to fall out of contention. Lee shipped it and has taken over the top spot with 500k in chips.

Pak Seok Won triple barrels Feng Zhao

Catching the action with a boosted pot of 42k and a flop 8 Q 5. Small blind Pak Seok Won bet 18k, hijack Feng Zhao called, the turn came 5. Pak fired 23k, Zhao called again and the river dropped 6. Pak slid out 60k, Zhao quickly folded. Pak chipped up to 245k, Zhao slipped to 238k.


Dan Trett busts out Mike Takayama

Having lost just over 50k a few hands prior to Feng Zhao on a blind vs button battle, Mike Takayama headed for the exit after missing to hit his straight draw against Dan Trett. On a flop of 7 7 8, Takayama jammed all-in for his remaining 12 big blinds with J 10. Trett called and Q 3 completed the board. Trett’s pocket Jacks held, eliminating the lone Filipino bracelet winner and chipped up to 260k.
