Unfortunately we only caught this hand on the river betting. The board was :kh} 8♠ 6♠ J♥ 9♠, bb Hwang Sang Yeon bet 65k, cutoff Harry Duong raised to 200k, Hwang tanked using two time banks. He then folded. We will get the details in a bit. Duong up to 525k, Hwang down to 235k.
From utg+1 Qian Xubo limped, beside him Francis Garson raised to 24k, button Kim Dongkyu three-bet to 71k, Xubo four-bet to 278k, Garson tank-folded, then Kim folded but not before using two time banks. Kim showed Q♣ Q♠, Xubo obliged showing his K♦ K♥. Garson said he folded A-K. Xubo at 760k, Kim at 400k.
Rayhaan Adam is steamrolling here at table 2. After knocking out a player, he proceeded to claim two more pots to rise to 1.3M. The latest hand saw him raise from hijack to 24k, called by button Pham Trung Kien and bb Prince Shek. On the flop 4♠ 5♦ J♥, no bets landed. On the turn K♥, Adam bet 50k, no callers, he showed K♠ and said he had A-K.
Hwang Sang Yeon was all in with A♦ K♠ and Yu Dang had him covered with K♦ K♣. When the board spread out 9♠ 6♦ 4♦ 10♣ A♥, Hwang rivered the higher pair to stay alive and double up. He is now at 474k, Yu Dang dropped to 86k.
The first player to reach and cross a million has emerged! Rayhaan Adam called Alexander Okruzhnoy’s shove. The at-risk Okruzhnoy was ahead A♠ 8♣ to Adam’s Q♥ J♣, but when a queen graced the board, it was all over for Okruzhnoy. Adam shipped it and is now sitting with 1.1M.
Zhang Lei all in with 6♥ 6♣, called by Prince Shek with A♦ K♥, when the board ran 7♣ Q♥ Q♦ 7♦ 2♠, Lei’s pocket pair was counterfeited to send him out. Shek scooped and climbed to 521k.
