Sam Beesley goes up and down; Peng up to 860k

Sam Beesley enjoyed a rise in chips through Seitaro Aso but hands later, Peng Yang sent him plummeting to 90k. The first pot Beesley raised to 18k from the button, called by sb Aso. At the flop 8 A 5, Aso check-called a 20k bet. On the turn J same action with Aso check-calling 46k. The river K, Beesley sent out 60k, this time Aso check-folded. Beeslyey up to 410k, Aso down to 385k.

Hands after, Beesley and Peng stared down a board 4 6 6? with 64k built up, utg+1 Peng checked, hijack Beesley bet 33k, Peng raised to 100k, Beesley caled. On the 3 turn, both players checked and the river came 10. Peng led for 160k, Beesley tanked. Peng said ” I have nuts”. Beesley called and indeed, Peng had second nuts with 10 10 full house. Xiao Yu Cheng retaliates, double up through Lee

Alex Lee has been railroading the table with successful raises and continuation bets. He won a pot against Harry Duong on a three-bet to 53k then showed pocket aces when Duong folded. Another hand, Lee four-bet Terry Nguyen bumpimg it up from 55k to 164k. However, his control was put to a halt by Xiao Yu Cheng who defended his big blind from the attacks.

From utg+1, Lee raised to 19k, called by Xiao. On the flop 2 10 6, Xiao check-raised Lee’s 22k c-bet to make it 44k. Lee called. On the 7 turn, Xiao bet 40k, Lee shoved, Xiao risked it all with 10 9 top pair. Lee showed A 8 gutshot. The river 6 was good for Xiao to double up to 428k. Lee dropped to 700k.


Peng Yang shows
