After that crushing hand with Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta‘s full house burning down Rubin “kornkid” Labroo‘s straight, it only took a couple of forced all ins to finally seal the win and become the newest APT Main Event champion. For his incredible achievement, Mehta pocketed a handsome IN₹ 17.5L and locked up the APT Main Event Trophy and APT Championship Ring. Congratulations to the champion!!

Fairly even in stacks, the defining hand came down hard. All in preflop, Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta 10♣ 10♦, Rubin “kornkid” Labroo K♣ J♠, the board was a head-turning 10♠ 9♣ Q♥ Q♦ 3♥ for a straight to Labroo and a full house to Mehta. This sent Labroo plummeting to 1 bb then eventually out in 2nd place. For his fantastic run, Labroo walked away with IN₹ 12.26L.
With Rubin “kornkid” Labroo’s latest takedown, he entered heads up sitting on a sizable advantage of 99.3L to Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta’s 36.4L. After ten minutes of heavy betting fast action, Mehta grinded to the chip lead and impressively with no all in showdowns. From there, the lead bounced from player to player. On the 45th minute of heads up, Labroo caught his stride and grew to a 4:1 advantage but was soon followed by a first heads up showdown that doubled up Mehta.
Short stacked Suresh “oil_trader” Kolli was in major need of catching up to the leaders with only 7 bb in his arsenal. He pushed it in with 4♦ 4♠ and faced Rubin “kornkid” Labroo who held A♥ 2♠. The cards landed 3♣ A♣ 7♥ J♥ 5♥ for a higher pair to Labroo and 3rd place to Kolli for a sizable IN₹ 7.93L payout.
Riding the momentum, Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta sent another player to the rails. Yogiraj “Yogiraj” Singh was all in with 7♦ 7♣, Mehta challenged with 9♠ Q♣, the board ran 8♠ 10♠ 3♦ 3♥ J♦ for a rivered straight to Mehta. Singh finished 4th and earned a cool IN₹ 5.86L for his deep run.
Mitesh “mikeknp” Gupta was next to fall with A♦ Q♠ top pair dominated by Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta’s K♥ K♠ set on a board A♥ 8♦ K♣ 3♦ 5♠. Gupta collected IN₹ 4.38L for his 5th place finish.
Massive chip leader Rubin “kornkid” Labroo has been bullying the table with a few shoves at every orbit. Taking on the challenge, Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta went head to head with Labroo on two pots and shipped it both times. The first hand sb Labroo shoved with 8♥ 2♠, bb Mehta doubled up with A♥ 6♣ with an ace on the board. One orbit later with the players in the blinds again, Labroo pushed with 3♦ 7♠, Mehta had J♥ J♦ to get full pay.
Anonymous player “p0kerguru” went pound for pound against chip leader Rubin “kornkid” Labroo. On the first shove p0kerguru doubled up with 9♣ 7♥ spiking the nine to overtake J♠ 3♣. Three hands later, it was Labroo getting there with J♣ 8♣ spiking the eight on the flop to dust and bust p0kerguru’s A♣ J♠. p0kerguru earned IN₹ 3.54L for the deep run.
After plunging on a failed bluff, Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta was on a mission to get back up top. With just a one bb difference between him and Rishab “ryuk” Malik, they butt heads. Mehta’s Q♣ Q♠ stayed ahead of Malik’s K♠ J♠ on a board A♠ 10♣ A♥ 4♥ 8♣. Malik was forced all in on the next hand and fell in 7th place.
