Neil Raine raised to 35k, Alex Lindop shoved, Raine called. Lindop Q Q, Raine 9 9, the board didn’t help Raine for a double up to Lindop to 350k. Raine down to 374k.


Chi Ying Tsai doubled up by Punsri

Punnat Punsri raised to 34k, Chi Ying Tsai three-bet jammed 190k, Punsri called. Punsri K J, Chi Q Q, Punsri missed the board for a double up to Chi to 420k. Punsri at 1.5M.


Carlos Chang with higher two pair

Utg Carlos Chang raised to 32k, u+1 Punnat Punsri and bb Ta Chih called. On the flop 6 10 3, Chang c-bet 36k, Punsri folded, Ta Chih check-called. On the turn 7 and river 3, Ta Chih showed 7 6 two pair, Chang won it with 9 9 higher two pair.


Cheng Chao Ting gets there on the river

Eng Loong Choi called Cheng Chao Ting’s three-bet shove of 239k. Choi K K, Cheng A J, the board ran 7 8 3 9 A for a higher pair spiked on the river. Cheng doubled up to 510k. Choi at 1M.


Shiga Mitsuhiro railed in 14th place – NT$ 111,500

Shiga Mitsuhiro all in with 10 10, Sera Ota challenged with K K, the board ran 3 J J 5 3. Shiga out in 14th place for NT$ 111,500.


Kelvin Beattie out in 15th place – NT$ 111,500

Level: 19 Blinds: 6K-12K Ante: 12K

Short stacked Kelvin Beattie three-bet jammed with A-K offsuit, called by initial raiser Punnat Punsri with 9-7 diamonds. The board ran 10-9-5-7-3 for a winning two pair to Punsri to bounce out Beattie in 15th place. Beattie earned NT$ 111,500.


Bubble bursts on two players!

Chia Yun Wu all in with Q Q and Takao Shimizu challenged with A K, the board ran 3 A 5 5 2 to bust Chia on the bubble. He has bubble protection.

On the other table, Graeme Siow Q Q, Carlos Chang had him dominated both in chips and in hole cards K K, the board ran low to end Siow on the bubble.

With two players eliminated on the bubble, the split the 16th place money, NT$ 46,450 each.

Three-way raised pot preflop saw the card run 6 6 5. Tobias Peters c-bet 26k, cutoff Neil Raine called, bb Cheng Chao Ting check-folded. On the turn 6, Peters bet 33k, Raine called. On the river 3, Peters bet 108k, Raine tanked using two time banks until he found the courage to call it. Peters opened K Q, Raine won it with J J.

Raine up to 602k, Peters slipped to 321k.


Bubble round: Takao Shimizu on the move

Takao Shimizu picked up two pots to bring his stack to over 700k. The first one saw action fold to the blinds, Shimizu raised to 30k called by bb Neil Raine. At the flop 7 6 K, Shimizu bet 55k, Raine raised to 115k, Shimizu jammed, quick fold by Raine. Next hand, utg Alex Lindop raised to 28k, button Shimizu three-bet to 100k, no callers.
