Kosei Ichinose’s next casualty of the day was Stephen Miles. Miles was all in with A-Q that could not get past Ichinose’s 7♣ 7♦ with the board running 7♥ J♦ 10♦ 4♥ Q♠. Miles out in 20th place.
Koichi Morita all in with his remaining 76k and Victor Chong made the call. Morita 9♣ 9♥, Chong K♦ J♠. The board ran 2♥ K♥ 10♠ 5♥ 6♠ for a higher pair to Chong. Morita out in 21st place.
Catching the action on the flop 6♦ Q♠ 6♠, an 80k bet by Shimizu called by Poetra. On the J♠ turn, both checked it. Then on the 10♥ river Shimizu slid out 70k and Poetra quickly called. Shimizu scooped it up to bring his stack to 910k. Poetra dropped to 198k.
Two short stacks were all in, Siyoung Lee and Chang Jae Lee. Sam Welbourne had them well covered and to put both at risk of elimination.

Bobby Zhang shoved from cutoff with 3♣ 3♦ but right beside him was Lim Yohwan with A♥ A♠. The board bricked and Zhang took 24th. Yohwan up to 335k.
Mikiya Kudo’s fight continues. He was all in with A♠ Q♥ and found partners on the board 6♥ Q♦ 6♦ A♥ 4♦ to overtake Takao Shimizu’s 10♣ 10♠ two pair. Kudo now at 250k.
We missed the action but from what we saw and heard, Jiego Erquiaga stated “I told you I had a hand”. Shunsuke Tsujii was packing up. The dealer scooped up a board with a king on it and Erquiaga holding K-K. Erquiaga at 465k
Chip leaders Kosei Ichinose and Takao Shimizu continue to rise. At Ichinose’s table, Stephen Nathan raised to 27k and found two callers to the flop 6♣ 4♥ 10♥. Sb Chang Jae Lee checked, bb Ichinose checked, Nathan checked. On the Q♠ turn, all checked again. On the 3♦ river, Ichinose bet 70k and won it with no callers.
At Shimizu’s table, he won a pot with K-9 full house with the board completing K-K-9-3-2.
Kosei Ichinose is already one of the biggest stacks here and has just charged up higher by eliminating APT champion Linh Tran. Action began with Chang Jae Lee raising to 30k, Tran shoved his 200k stack, Ichinose flat-called, back to Lee who tanked. Lee had slightly more than Tran but then opted to fold.
