Stephen Nathan all in for his 185k stack, called by Mikya Kudo. Nathan A J, Kudo A J, the board ran 2 5 9 J giving Kudo a flush draw and Nathan a sweat… then the river 8 was a relief for Nathan. They split.


Jiego Erquiaga eliminated in 8th place – PHP 378,200

Jiego Erquiaga is the first casualty of the final table and he fell on a crushing river card against chip leader Mikiya Kudo. The hand began with a raise by Kuo to 65k, Erquiaga jammed his 225k stack, back to Kudo with the call.

Both players got a piece of the flop A 6 K. Erquiaga stayed ahead on the 5 turn, but the river 9 improved to two pair to boot Erquiaga in 8th place. He earned PHP 378,200 for his deep run.


Kosei Ichinose river bets win it

Intense out there from the get-go. The fourth and fifth hands went to Kosei Ichinose. First pot he called Koji Asaka’s 65k raise defending his big blind. At the flop Q 3 6, Asaka c-bet 55k and Ichinose check-called. On the A turn, both checked. Then on the river 8, Ichinose led for 230k and won it with Asaka folding.

Next hand Ichinose limped from the small blind then called Lim Yohwan’s 100k bb raise. The flop K Q 6. Ichinose check-called 70k. On the 4 turn, no bets by either. On the 2 river Ichinose led for 150k and won it with Yohwan folding.

Koji Asaka stops Lim Yohwan

On the third hand of the final table, Lim Yohwan raised again to 65k and this time he was called by Koji Asaka on the button. At the flop Q Q 7, both checked. On the J turn, Yohwan checked, Asaka bet 70k, called. On the 10 river Asaka sent out 250k, and again Yohwan check-called. Asaka won the pot with 10 9 flush. Yohwan mucked. Asaka up to 1.6M. Yohwan dropped to 1.2M.


Boxer comes out aggressive

Lim Yohwan aka Boxer won the first two pots. He raised preflop on both and everyone folded.
