Then on the river of Q♣, Falcon led out for 45k and Sayo snap-called. Falcon had ace-four offsuit for a small pair, but it wasn’t good enough against Sayo’s 6♦ 6♥. Sayo now has 550k chips.

After a series of pots won without a flop, we finally got to see one that even reached the turn. During the hand, Ji Young Kim raised to 35k preflop and big blind player Alex Ward called to defend his blinds. At the flop of A♠ 2♦ A♣, Ward checked, Kim continued and slid out 43k worth. Ward smooth-called. On the turn of Q♦, Ward checked again, Kim didn’t stop and slid out a 58k bet. With this, Ward folded.

At the turn of 7♥, Paredes slowed to a check and Ward fired out 68k. That was enough to take it down as Paredes quickly folded.
