Razavi wins another pot

Level: 27 Blinds: 20000-40000 Ante: 5000

Samad Razavi won another pot, this time against Dennis Huntly. Razavi raised preflop to 80K from the cutoff seat and Huntly from the big blind called.

Flop: J 10 5

Huntly checked to Razavi who slid out 40K and Huntly flat-called to see the turn.

Turn: 6

Huntly checked again, Razavi banged out 105K, and Huntly decided to fold his hand. Razavi won another pot.


Razavi vs Lee

Level: 27 Blinds: 20000-40000 Ante: 5000

Kicking off the next level was Alex Lee with a raise to 80K which Samad Razavi from the button and Jay Lubas from the big blind seat called.

Flop : J A 2

Lubas checked the flop to Lee who sent out a continuation bet of 95K. Razavi called and Lubas folded.

Turn: 8

Both players checked.

River: 3

Both players checked again and at the showdown, Razavi won the hand with his Q J that landed a pair against Lee’s K Q.


Imperial doubles up Razavi

Level: 26 Blinds: 15000-30000 Ante: 5000

Emmanuel Imperial Jr. took a beating to his stack when he doubled up Samad Razavi in this hand. It started off with Imperial raising to 70K, got re-raised to 230K  by Razavi, and Imperial called.

Flop: 2 9 5

Imperial checked the flop and quickly Razavi announced all in for 385K behind. Imperial tanked for bit then eventually called.

Razavi: K K

Imperial: A 5

With the turn of 7 and river of 6, Imperial was unable to improve his hand and Razavi doubled up huge to 1.4M. Imperial down to around 700K.


Imperial vs Huntly

Level: 26 Blinds: 15000-30000 Ante: 5000

Emmanuel Imperial began the hand by raising to 70K and was flat-called by Dennis Huntly on the big blind.

Flop: 7 4 J

Huntly checked his option to Imperial who banged out 100K. Huntly folded and Imperial took it down.


John Jay Magadan out in 8th place

Level: 26 Blinds: 15000-30000 Ante: 5000

Despite having raised his chips from the dead, John Jay Magadan could not push any further as he was railed by Alex Lee in 8th place. During the hand, Lee raised to 60K preflop and Magadan called from the big blind.

Flop: 9 Q 2

Magadan checked the flop, Lee bet 75K, and Magadan called.

Turn: K

Magadan checked again, Lee shoved, and Magadan tank-called for his tournament life.

Magadan: Q 8

With the river of 3, Magadan was unable to improve his lower pair and was eliminated from the final table. Magadan collects P425,000 for his deep finish at the Main Event.


Takayama vs Lubas

Level: 26 Blinds: 15000-30000 Ante: 5000

Mike Takayama took more chips from his opponents, this time from Jay Lubas. During the hand, Takayama raised to 70K and from the big blind seat, Lubas called.

Flop: 9 A J

Lubas checked the flop, Takayama bet 90K, and Lubas folded his hand. Takayama showed his hand, A 9 for two pairs.


Takayama climbs over million mark

Level: 26 Blinds: 15000-30000 Ante: 5000

Mike Takayama just climbed up and above the million chip mark in a hand against Alex Lee. The hand began with Lee raising to 60K preflop then got repopped to 155K by Takayama. Lee called and they went to see a board land,

Takayama checked to Lee who bet 125K, and like previous, Takayama raised him, this time to 270K. Lee folded. Takayama up to around 1.3M


Imperial doubles up Magadan

Level: 26 Blinds: 15000-30000 Ante: 5000

Emmanual Imperial and John Jay Magadan tangled in a pot that began with Imperial raising to 70K which Magadan raised to his full cap of 125K. Imperial called and it was a showdown.

Magadan: 10 10

Imperial: A J

Board: 3 2 3 8 10

Magadan lands a sweet boat and doubled up to around 300K.


Lubas folds to Huntly

Level: 26 Blinds: 15000-30000 Ante: 5000

Jay Lubas kicked off the hand raising to 65K only to get 3-betted to 150K by Dennis Huntly. Unlike against Lee, Lubas folded this one and Huntly took the pot without a show.
