Tan Gay Peng were the only ones battling in the end for the 50K pot weighing down the middle of the table.

The board was Q 8 6 A 6

Peng bet 40K and Takayama called. Peng showed A J and Takayama mucked. Peng now has around 300K chips.


Francis Villamar avoids elimination

Another short stack doubles up. This time it was Francis Villamar shoving with 27,500 total. He was called by Adam Monaghan and it was a showdown.

With the board running blanks for Monaghan J 2 3 4 7, Villamar avoided elimination and doubled up to 60K.

Dong Woo Lee lives to fight another hand after he doubled up and won against the button caller.

Michael Lindstrom eliminates a short stack

Michael Lindstrom rcalled a re-raise all in by a short-stacked player on the big blind seat with only 23K total. Lindstrom won the hand with A J against his opponent’s J J when the board ran 5 10 A K 4.

 


Gavin Smith vs Marc Rivera

Level: 17 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Marc Rivera’s min-raise to 8K was not to be accepted by Gavin Smith who repopped it up to 21K. Rivera folded.


Goh Kian Ming busts out Hayato Kitajima

Level: 17 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Preflop action-packed hand began with Lester Edoc raising it up to 8K, Goh Kian Ming responded with a three-bet to 20K, then Hayato Kitajima went all in with his very short stack of 7500. Edoc called Ming’s reraise for a side pot and they all went see the flop.

Flop: K 3 8

Edoc checked to Ming who banged out 25K which Edoc was unwilling to match. Ming collected the side pot and it was a showdown against Kitajima.

Ming: 8 8

Kitajima: A 10

With the turn and river no help to Kitajma, he was eliminated, and Ming was took down the pot.

 


Mike Takayama steady chip up

Level: 17 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Catching the action only on the river, Mike Takayama was in a hand against Linh Tran with around 25K already in the middle.

Board: 3 3 7 8 A

Tran bet 10K. Takayama raised to 32K. Tran folded. Takayama collected a nice pot.


Gerard Bringley eliminated by Seung Soo Jeon

With everyone folding to the button player Gerard Bringley, he shoved his 46K chips and from the big blind seat, Seung Soo Jeon called but not after tanking for some time.

Bringley: K 3

Board ran: 7 9 Q 8 4

Bringley was eliminated as Jeon collected a sizeable stack to add to his arsenal.
