Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 100

Douglas Olsson moved all in with 31K and after some time, he was called. Olsson had A Q ahead of his caller’s A J. The board ran K K 5 8 A, giving both players two pairs but Olsson had the better kicker for a good double up.

Bernie Angeles doubled up by Gavin Smith

Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 100

Bernie Angeles was teetering on elimination and had to find a spot to double up in. Luckily for him, he found it and was up against the massive stacked Gavin Smith who only had to call 7000. Angeles had K J against Smith who held K 9. The board was A 5 6 4 10, and with that Angeles stays alive with his double up.

Julian Hasse loses some to Lester Edoc

Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 100

Catching the action at the flop of 5 2 5, Edoc checked to Hasse who bet 2600, then Edoc check-raised to 6000, Hasse went all in, and Edoc called with his 18K chips behind. Edoc showed 9 5 for trips over Hasse’s Q Q. The turn and river did not improve Hasse’s hand. Edoc doubled up.
