The race for top spot in the APT Player of the Year 2012 heats up the cool weather in Mauritius as Australian Liam Anderson made his his way to the APT Asian Series Mauritius 2012.
“I’m here to take the lead in the APT Player of the Year (POY) table,” said Anderson as he was greeted by the APT team.
Currently lying 2nd in the APT Player of the Year standings with six cashes already at APT 2012 events earning him 696.4 points behind leader Martin Nilsson from Sweden with 760.2, no one at APT doubted Anderson’s resolve and determination to do just that.
To prove the point, yesterday, Anderson finished 4th in the opening side event at APT Asian Series Mauritius 2012. securing an additional 52.8 points taking his total points standing to 749.2, just eleven points shy of Nilsson.
The battle for leadership in the APT Player of the Year is surely taking place here this week in Mauritius!
