Good morning players and welcome to Day 2 of the APT Korea Incheon Championships 2018 – CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT – here at the luxurious Paradise City casino. The past two starting days saw a combined 128 entries heat up the felt however only 74 advanced to today’s round. Luckily, eliminated players won’t have to stand on the sidelines. Late registration is still open for one hour, closing at the start of Level 10. For players signing up, buyin is ₩1,650,000 with starting stack at 50,000.
Today’s action picks up at Level 9 with blinds at 600-1200 ante 1200. Whether or not the money is reached, another 8 levels will be played. Leading the pack is Day 1A chip leader USA’s Preston Lee (286,800), followed by Day 1B leader USA’s Jaepil You (215,500), and in third rank is Canada’s Sunny Jennens (204,900).
Also in the lineup today are several pros Pete Chen, Samad Razavi, Yuri Ishida, En-Ching Wu, and the festival’s Main Event champion Iori Yogo.
