Last chance to enter the CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT!
The APT Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Championships will be hosting its last flight to the APT Championships Event starting at 1pm today at Pro Poker Club. This is the second featured tournament of the series. Buy-in is VND 33,000,000.
*Important reminder: Day 1B plays until the end of Level 10. Registration closes at the end of Level 9.
Schedule:
Day 1A – Wednesday, July 18 @1pm
Day 1B – Thursday, July 19 @1pm
Day 2 – Friday, July 20 @1pm
Day 3 – Saturday, July 21 @1pm
Final Day – Sunday, July 22 @130pm
The final table will stream live (45-minute delay) on APT Twitch and APT YouTube.
We will also have live updates leading up to the final table posted in the website.
BUBBLE PROTECTION
As always, the Bubble Protection will be in effect for the Championships Event. For players that qualify for the protection, they will be insured on the bubble round. In the event that a protected player falls as the bubble, that player will receive their buy-in back in the form of APT tournament credits.
To qualify, players must meet these 3 simple steps:
- Pre-register
- Draw for your seat before the 1pm starting time
- Have your chips put into play on the first deal of Level 1
*Eliminated players wanting bubble protection on the next starting day will have to qualify again.
Nguyen Van Canh tops Championships Event Day 1A
Day 1A of the Championships Event drew in 74 entries each one coughing up the VND 33,000,000 buyin. By the end of the scheduled 10 rounds, only 25 remained with Vietnam’s Nguyen Van Canh bagging the largest stack of 353,600.
Running second-in-chips was Tran Trung Hieu aka Vaness Kim.
And to round out the top three is a very familiar face, Vietnam’s Linh Tran .
